All of the images on this CD already have drop shadows so you can use the images as they are.  All of the plant material was photographed with the light coming from the upper left.  The drop shadow falls on the lower right of the plant material.  Since all of the lighting and drop shadows are consistent, you can use the images in a layout without any additional work.

To use the images with the drop shadow rather than dropping out the background, you may want to delete the clipping path depending on the requirements of the drawing program/page layout program you are using.  If you will be using these images in Photoshop® and not in a drawing program/page layout program, it should not be necessary to delete the clipping path.

If you want to delete the clipping path in Photoshop®, choose Window, Show Paths.  From the Paths palette highlight the path and choose Delete Path as shown below.
